Thanksgiving Food Assistance Registration

United Way of the Brazos Valley is helping people register for Thanksgiving meals. If you and your family are interested in holiday assistance, the following options are available. Please access the corresponding registration form to sign up for each program. Food assistance is provided by it’s corresponding program

Thanksgiving Meals – Thanksgiving in the Brazos Valley

 
Registration for this program is open and will close on Nov. 22 at 9:00 am, or earlier if all of the meals are registered.
 

Thanksgiving in the Brazos Valley hosted by Chartwells and Epicures Catering. This program serves residents in Bryan and College Station and deliveries will only be made to addresses located in these two cities.

These Thanksgiving meals are individual, ready-to-eat plates. During registration you will be asked to enter the number of meals your household will need.

Thanksgiving Meals Delivered on Thanksgiving Day. An adult must be present to receive delivery due to food safety issues.

Delivery drivers will call your mobile number prior to arrival to confirm an adult is home and provide delivery instructions. Deliveries will be contactless and will follow social distancing protocols. 

One registration per address is allowed. Any duplicated address requests will be omitted.

Thanksgiving Baskets – Rotary Club of Aggieland

 
Registration for this program will is open and will close on November 12 at 5 pm, or earlier if all of the baskets are registered. Registration is limited to the first 150 addresses to be registered.

Thanksgiving Baskets provided by the Rotary Club of Aggieland. This program serves residents in Bryan and College Station and deliveries will only be made to addresses located in these two cities. Registration is limited to the first 150 addresses to be registered.

Thanksgiving Baskets include uncooked ingredients to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. Baskets include a frozen turkey (1), canned vegetables, beans, stuffing, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, rolls and tea packets for the boxes.

Baskets will be delivered on Friday, November 19, 2021 between 2 pm – 5 pm. 

One registration per address is allowed. Any duplicated address requests will be omitted.

Holiday Assistance Volunteer Opportunities

Thanksgiving Meal Delivery Volunteers – Thanksgiving in the Brazos Valley

Thanksgiving in the Brazos Valley will be delivering cooked Thanksgiving meals again this year. Hot meals will be delivered to those in need between 10 am and 12:30 pm on Thanksgiving Day. Volunteers are needed for food preparation, car loading and delivery driver shifts.

Kettle Bell Ringers – The Bryan/College Station Salvation Army

Volunteer to ring the bell and help change lives. The Salvation Army’s registration portal opens up on October 15. They welcome all types of volunteers such as individuals, groups. and even virtual ringers are welcome. Be among the first to register and select a time that works for you.
