Thanksgiving Food Assistance Registration

United Way of the Brazos Valley is helping people register for Thanksgiving meals. If you and your family are interested in holiday assistance, the following options are available. Please access the corresponding registration form to sign up for each program. Food assistance is provided by it’s corresponding program

This is not a complete list of holiday assistance available in the Brazos Valley. For additional resources, call 2-1-1 Texas by dialing 2-1-1 (or 1-877-541-7905) or visiting 211texas.org.

Thanksgiving Day Meals

Thanksgiving in the Brazos Valley hosted by Chartwells and Epicures Catering. The deadline to register for meal delivery is November 20, 2023 at 9am. Thanksgiving Meals delivered on Thanksgiving Day between 10am and 12:30pm (An adult must be present to receive delivery due to food safety issues).

One registration per address is allowed. Any duplicated address requests will be omitted. This program serves residents in Bryan and College Station, and deliveries will be made to addresses located in these two cities.

Thanksgiving Baskets

Thanksgiving Baskets, provided by The Rotary Club of Aggieland, include uncooked ingredients to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. The deadline to register is November 9, 2023 at 5pm. Registration is limited to the first 200 addresses registered. 

Baskets will be delivered on Friday, November 17 between 11am-2pm.

Thanksgiving Day Meal Volunteers – Thanksgiving in the Brazos Valley

Thanksgiving in the Brazos Valley is welcoming volunteers from the community to help deliver approximately 2,000 meals to residents on Thanksgiving Day. Volunteer opportunities are available starting 8am and ending at 11:40am. 

Volunteers may register to assist with plating meals, loading cars and/or delivering meals to individuals and families in Bryan / College Station. Multiple shifts and duties are available.

Angel Tree Program – The Salvation Army of Bryan College Station

Volunteer to help provide Christmas gifts for children in need in your community! Sign- Up Today at bcsalvationarmy.galaxydigital.com 

Assist individuals with adopting Angels or help organize Angel Tree Christmas gifts to prepare for distribution to the families.

*Minimum age 16 yrs old; An individual under age 18 must volunteer with a parent/guardian or school teacher/club sponsor.

Kettle Bell Ringers – The Salvation Army of Bryan College Station

Bell Ringing is the biggest fundraiser that The Salvation Army hosts every year. The money raised by Bell Ringing goes towards  year-round programs including food pantry, rental and utility assistance, youth programs, and more.
